Pastor of New Life since 2016

Pastor Stephen G. Birch is a devoted follower of Jesus Christ with a heart for serving God, strengthening families, and helping people grow in their faith. He committed his life to Christ in the summer of 1996 and has continued to grow in ministry, leadership, and Christian service.

Pastor Birch was appointed a Deacon in December 2010 and was later ordained as a Pastor. He continued his studies in spiritual advising, Christian counseling, effective leadership, pastoral care, and the history of Christianity.

His education includes studies in Pastoral Care and Counseling, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Theology and Church Leadership and a Bachelor of Science in Christian Leadership and Management.

In addition to his ministry experience, Pastor Birch has more than 20 years of professional leadership experience. This background has strengthened his commitment to servant leadership, organizational responsibility, and caring for people from all walks of life.

In 2016, after four years of being anointed, prepared, and appointed by God, Pastor Birch became Pastor of New Life Christian Church International. Under his leadership, New Life continues its mission of sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ, teaching the Word of God, strengthening individuals and families, serving the community, and providing a welcoming place where people can grow in their relationship with Christ.

Pastor Birch believes that ministry extends beyond the walls of the church. His desire is for New Life to be a church that prays for its community, serves those in need, welcomes people from every background, and demonstrates the love of Jesus Christ through both word and action.

 First Lady Phillen Birch, affectionately known as “Lady P,” is a dedicated servant of Jesus Christ and an important part of the ministry of New Life Christian Church International. Born in Guyana, South America, she has called the United States home since the early 1990s and brings a deep love for God, family, worship, and serving others to the New Life church family.

Lady P is the daughter of the late Reverend Loleta Allicock and was raised with a strong foundation of faith and Christian service. She is a licensed evangelist and continues to grow in her knowledge of the Word of God while encouraging others to develop a closer relationship with Jesus Christ.

At New Life, Lady P serves alongside Pastor Stephen G. Birch in supporting the spiritual life and mission of the church. Her ministry reflects a heart for prayer, worship, women, families, fellowship, and community outreach. She believes that every person has value and that the church should be a place where people are welcomed, encouraged, strengthened, and given opportunities to use their God-given gifts.

Lady P is also the founder of SisterFriends, a ministry created to encourage and strengthen women through Christian fellowship, friendship, prayer, and mutual support. Her heart is to remind women that they do not have to face life's challenges alone and that there is strength in supporting and encouraging one another.

Her life and ministry reflect a desire to move forward in faith, serve others with compassion, and remain faithful to the calling God has placed upon her life. Together with Pastor Birch, she is committed to helping New Life Christian Church International share the Gospel, strengthen families, serve the community, and demonstrate the love of Jesus Christ.

New Life Christian Church International is a Bible-believing Christian church serving Enfield, Connecticut, and surrounding communities. Our purpose is to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ, help people grow in their relationship with God, strengthen individuals and families, and serve our community with faith, compassion, and love.

We believe the church is called not only to worship together, but also to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. Through biblical preaching and teaching, prayer, Christian fellowship, community outreach, and practical assistance, we seek to provide a place where people can experience the love of Christ and find encouragement, hope, and spiritual growth.

Our ministry reaches beyond the walls of the church. We serve individuals and families through outreach programs, clothing and essential-item distributions, back-to-school assistance, Socks for Souls, community prayer, Christian education, and other programs designed to meet practical and spiritual needs.

Whether you have followed Jesus Christ for many years, are returning to church, or are simply searching for answers about God and faith, you are welcome at New Life. Brother Chris Allicock serves as Minister of Music at New Life Christian Church International, using his musical gifts and love for God to support our worship ministry and help create an atmosphere of praise and worship.

Brother Chris brings experience in a variety of musical styles, including traditional and contemporary Gospel and Caribbean-influenced Christian music. Through music, he helps lead the congregation in worship and supports our mission of sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with people of all ages and backgrounds.

In addition to his music ministry, Brother Chris is a graduate of New Life Christian Church International’s Bible Class, Class of 2019. His commitment to Christian growth, biblical teaching, and service reflects New Life’s desire to help believers develop their God-given gifts and use them to strengthen the church and serve others.

We are grateful for Brother Chris’s faithful service and for the important role music plays in the worship and ministry of New Life Christian Church International.

Superintendent Natalie Dixon-Allicock faithfully serves the children and families of New Life Christian Church International. She has a heart for helping children learn about Jesus Christ, understand the Word of God, and develop a strong foundation of Christian faith.

Through our children’s ministry, Sister Natalie helps provide age-appropriate biblical teaching and activities that encourage our young people to grow spiritually and understand how God’s Word applies to their everyday lives. She is committed to creating a welcoming environment where children know they are loved, valued, and an important part of the church family.

Sister Natalie also serves as an Events Coordinator for New Life Christian Church International, helping organize church services, fellowship activities, community outreach, and special events. Her service helps connect our ministries with families both within the church and throughout the surrounding community.

As a wife, mother, and dedicated servant of God, Sister Natalie brings compassion, commitment, and a genuine love for people to her ministry. We are grateful for her faithful service and her commitment to helping the next generation grow in faith, fellowship, and the knowledge of Jesus Christ.

Deaconess Flourine Harris faithfully serves New Life Christian Church International as a dedicated member of our church leadership and ministry team. She serves as a Praise and Worship Leader and helps lead our congregation in worship during church services and special gatherings.

Deaconess Harris also serves as President of the Usher Ministry, helping provide a welcoming, orderly, and caring environment for members, visitors, and guests. Through the usher ministry, she helps ensure that everyone who enters New Life is greeted with kindness and assisted throughout the worship experience.

Her service reflects a genuine love for God, His people, and the ministry of the church. Whether serving through worship, hospitality, or wherever assistance is needed, Deaconess Harris demonstrates a willing heart and a commitment to advancing the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Evangelist Donna Allicock is an ordained Evangelist and serves as Church Secretary at New Life Christian Church International. She is also one of the founding members of New Life and has faithfully supported the ministry since its beginning.

As Church Secretary, Evangelist Donna helps support the administrative needs of the church and assists in maintaining communication, organization, and important church information. Her service helps our ministry remain organized as we carry out our mission of worship, Christian fellowship, outreach, and service to the community.

Evangelist Donna is a mother of three and a dedicated woman of faith who believes in serving God and His people. Through the years, she has remained committed to the ministry and continues to encourage others through her Christian witness and willingness to serve.
